Have made several posts about Lucban. That small landlocked town in the Southern part of Luzon. There’s posts here about the famous Pahiyas Festival; also a post which can help you select which hotel to stay in Lucban, and places to visit such as the Kamay ni Hesus Shrine.
And, definitely, I wouldn’t missed posting their centuries old church. The home of San Isidro de Labrador, the patron saint of Lucbanins.

Looks narrow in the photo. But, it can surely accommodate devotees. We were lucky because we visited the town on a regular day. Whilst on Pahiyas Festival, devotees and tourists alike crammed the church.
Just as how the church’s facade manifest its antiquity, same as its interiors which are quite devoid of conspicuous adornment except for the huge chandeliers hanging above the high ceilings. The church’s enigma really draws pious devotees unto the altar.
On the side entrance, we caught up with this miniature construction (of their church) which is made from native products. It shows how rich the place is of plants that can become the source of many a products made there. More importantly, it shows the ingenuity of the locals in crafting products which are really export quality.
Before we bid our farewells to the small yet serene town of Lucban…an obligatory shot for me in front of the church… 
Our visit may have been ephemeral…but the church’s enigma transcend beyond our memories…
